Product Description
This is a TIAO's top model of buffered Wiggler JTAG programmer. It can fix your FTA, non FTA receivers. It is also a Wiggler compatiable JTAG programmer.
TIAO has a long history of making JTAG cables. They make the world's best JTAG cables.
The new design abandoned the batteries, instead, it can be powered by either USB port or target board. There are two USB receptacles on the board, one is USB-B and another one is Mini USB. Some target boards may provide power, thus a jumper is placed on the board, therefore you can choose whether to power it from target board or from USB port.
Some target boards may require 3.3V inputs, so we have installed a LDO voltage regulator on the board, with a switch on the board, you can easily select from 5V to 3.3V power.
There are 3 LEDs on the board, so you know whether you are powering it from target board or USB, and you know whether you are outputing 5V or 3.3V.
As for the parallel port header, this board uses a male DB25 header, so it can be directly connect to your computers parallel port, You do not need a parallel port extension cord.
Two 20 pin, one 6 pin, one 14 pin and one 8 pin IDC headers are placed on the board, the pin configurations are industry standards.
It also comes with solderless adapter, no need to solder pin headers onto the pcb or target board.
