Liteon 83850V2 and 93450 Solder Kit - Liteon Switch 2.0 (50 PCS)

This is 50 PCS bundle of our Liteon Switch 2.0.

This is a must have for your Liteon (Lite-on) DVD drive (83850V2 and 93450). This tool helps you to extract the key.

This kit is designed to easy extract lite-on key (83850V2 and 93450).

You need our DVD power adapter to make it to work. This is for customer who already purchased the DVD power adapter or CK3 from us.

For 83850V2 and 93450, you will need to make cuts on your liteon dvd PCB.


This kit comes with the following items:
* Include all the required components for your to extract dvd key (83850V2 and 93450) (soldering required)
* Works with any PCs.


You also need a PCI to SATA controller card and case opening tool in order to flash the DVD drive.

Note: You also need our DVD power adapter in order to use this kit. Other brands of DVD power adapter won't work because they do NOT have required connection on the adapter.

This product is perfect if you plan on hooking up your dvd to your pc and do some interesting testing.


PS: This also works with Liteon 74850c, however, for 74850C, the best is to use our solderless kit, this you do not need to make any cuts on your PCB nor soldering anything.

This switch will permanently soldered to you Liteon PCB, with 2 switches, you can easily switch to Read mode or Normal Mode.
The other switch enables you to use 18, 20 and 22 Ohm resistors. Always start with 22 Ohm resistor, if it doesn't work, try 20 Ohm and then 18 Ohm.

This is prefect for installers.


Warnings

In order to connect the DVD to your PC, you have to open the case, which invalidates your warranty. If you want to keep you warranty, do not try this.

We are NOT responsible for any misreading or damage done to your box / computer in any way.


Warning

We strongly encourage you to use multimeter to check the trace after rejoin it using silver glue (when it is dried). Fail to do that, you may damage your DVD drive.

If you are not too afraid of soldering, you can also solder the cuts, however, you still need to use multimeter to check the joint, to make sure there is no short circuit.
