help me with flashing my lite on Review by fred

well i looked through and was following the tutorial but i dont know wat i did wrong. I cut the traces but i may have cut them too deep. and now jungleflasher and dosflash wont recognize my drive at all. however once in a while dosflash recognized my drive for about 10 minutes but on dosflash it kept saying mtk vendor failed and status was 0x80 and i also tried turning the ck on and off or using different ohm resistors but it still hasnt worked yet and as of right now dosflash and JF doesnt recognize my drive anymore even when the pins are on the points (Posted on 7/9/10)

Works pretty good, but I'm unclear as to the "mode" switch's function. I don't get different status results by trying to get into vendor mode with the switch in different positions - and there is nothing in the instructions I saw that said which setting was which. Anyone? (Posted on 4/10/10)

well the kit came in a week.. to the US...the V3 is made great.... the only thing i dont like is the key extractor .. only because it isa little flimsy... but worked great... if you follow the tutorials..on the drivers.. then use jungle flasher...everything will work...i extracted my keys and flashed my lite-on in 20 min...so much easyer with this kit.. well worth its price.. thanks to all on the forum ..who are willing tohelp if you have a problem.... Delivery was a little slow but I think the post office was the problem because the package came from only 2 provinces away from me. The product itself is great, works like a charm. This is the kit you need to make your life simple couldn't have asked for a better product.

I'd say this is the best CK3 and Key extractor for your liteon. Free shipping is also good! Modded my liteon in 20 minutes, thanks to your tutorial!

How well can a cheaper (in price) product work? Apparently excellent. The shipping time was decent, but the product is top notch. I was a little worried with the probe because the needle seems like it may fall out. It's spring loaded and very thin. I've pressed it in about 30 times with no issues. The probe works very well and surprised me with the actual build quality. The connectivity kit makes life so much easier as well. I have yet to try the hard drive board. All in all I'm quite satisfied. If you're doubting this purchase, I urge you to go forward with it. Also, if at first you have problems with the probe and board, before you give up on it check your settings. Make sure you have drivers, the right COM port selected, etc. (Posted on 2/7/10)
